What We Do

FMA is Home, Hope and Horizon. We provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young vulnerable people from 16+. Our aim is for them to thrive, advance their potential, foster resilience, confidence and self-sufficiency towards independent living where possible.

This is delivered through a comprehensive support service that takes into account each young person’s holistic and individual needs.

Who We Support

Supporting individuals across different stages of life with care, dignity and compassion.

Young People (16–18)

  • Care leavers or looked-after young people over the age of 16
  • Young people who are on the spectrum /neurodivergent needing support
  • Young people fighting battles against addictions.
  • Young people affected by sexual abuse and at risk of child sexual exploitation
  • Young people affected by domestic abuse
  • Young people with mild to moderate learning disabilities as well as mental health problems.
  • Young people who are at risk of child and criminal exploitation

Adults (18–65)

  • Transition our existing young vulnerable persons who might require longer support into independent living because they are not ready.

  • Adults who are on the spectrum/ Neurodivergent needing support such as ADHD

  • Offer Tauma informed approach for adults experiencing mental health issues in anxiety, depression, OCD, social anxiety, psychosis etc.
  • Clients who are coming from probation services requiring support to integrated back into community and have identified mental health needs.
  • Substance and drug abuse with mental health needs .
  • Clients with both learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Adults who have mental health problems but require support with life skill development, education and employment pathways.
